Just a WTF kinda daze
As the 'luxury collection' propaganda fizzles away like the petals of a dried out plumeria leaf lei, too long worn in the hot sun, so does the facts and figures of the dumbest remodel in the history of Hotels.
It isnt like the damn place wasnt making any kala (monies) it isnt like the staff was a bunch of swine, nor were the REPEAT guests upset or unsatisified. What feeble East Coast mind perpetuated a myth of 'make something REALLLLLLLLLLLY exclusive (ie: Reallllllllllllllllly frikkin expensive)and we'll make money!

Going from 300 or 400 covers on a busy night in the restaurant to.......80 and 3 or 4K in bizzzeness from 12 or 13K....something isnt working, is it?
But.....obviously when egos the size of Manhattan are involved, apparently any loss amount is OK as long as......you are exclusive.

Electricity and Sink
Kohnster came and assited the remodelling-challenged with adding a outlet for the jacuzzi tub.
He didnt electrocute me. Nor I him, altho' I did kinda try. I guess in a sense I did; since he is getting a vasectomy on Tuesday. Where the getting nutered fell in with this, I have no idea. Then again, there is reason for everything I 'magine.
Got a really good deal on a bath room sink - 50 bucks off craigslist (again!) for a Kohler Sink valued at $150 - $175, so thats a score I reckon. Ordered a behind the lua (toilet) storage thingy made of recycled glass and faux bamboo, for the kiddo to throw things on the floor around.
Last week at FIRE we got our annual statement of vacation and sick leave taken.
Besides the time off from the wonderful moped incident, I took a grand total of .....
1 day vacation last year.
When we went to Vegas last year I swapped one day with another guy, and had to call in sick as we had guys on vacation already, and I had booked the trip, so call in sick was all I could do. I dont like to call in sick, if I aint, some twisted dedication and all that BS, I guess, good old company dweeble. Me.
I'm not bitching, just sayin' I am plodding along with the bathroom, so we will see, wont we?

Tearing out the kids (Maile's) bath,remodelling. Got a Kohler Devonshire Whrilpool Jacuzzi tub (1200 retail) for 400 bucks on craigslist; brand new still in the box,....and not stolen.
Did some of the frame-in......and then was told I put it in backwards. Ah fuck, wasted 2 days doing that, doofus boy.
It's all good.

It is re-opening time
The Royal Hawaiian (a luxury collection resort) is getting ready for the grand opening on the 20th of January. So yours truly has been in the process of serious brain washing indoctrination of the wheres whys and hows of what the Royal Hawaiian Resort (we aint no damn hotel no more , mofo's) is to be.
Exquistely presented for for your unique perusal is some shots from your resident psychopath.
You see, I have been instructed that the requsite verbage to be used at the RESORT is now to be on the lines of the Queens english so that the visitors paying ....598 rack rate (thats THE CHEAPEST) will know how well we are there at there beck and call since they have....
