Not from me, either, because I like to think about somebody I know living somewhere reasonably warm and getting to do things I can only dream of, especially right now!
The first time my wife took me home to meet her family in Vermont her Dad just knew we'd be freezing as she had done a couple of years in Hawaii then been stationed in San Diego. It was June but he made her sister light off the furnace.
So I walked in the door of the 110 year old house, having been told of all the times the Edison wiring had caught fire and how many problems it had and there's smoke rising through the floorboards as the "grate" was burned through in the furnace so it didn't draft properly...
We finally convinced him we'd rather wear long sleeves than deal with the smoke!
They finally replaced that furnace two years later and converted from wood to oil. The one that's still there...
So think of Ange and I and the rest of us the next time you see the sun or the surf, please?

Lucky for you it's sunny today.
Because if it had been gray and freezing, I'd definitely written FUCK YOU.
Do you take surfing requests?
Can you get one in for me, then tell me about it so I can pretend I was there?
Thanks.
