I remember on one our of trips to Maui we were out on the lanai and watching all the little fishies swimming in the waves that were breaking on the beach below. There were hundreds if not thousands of little fish. After watching for a little while we all headed down to the beach to relax on lounge chairs and prepare for another beautiful sunset. The little fishies were still swimming in the breaking waves. We heard a slicing, splashing sound and looked to the left. We were stunned to see a shark swimming in those same breaking waves gobbling up those fishies. Now that was a smaller shark obviously, probably two to three feet, but that event leaves no doubt in my mind that a big ole sucker like the one above could come in that close.

The other two pictures were comforting. Thanks.

It must e nice to live in paradise...even with the sharks. The pictures are great.
