I cheated responsibility this dawn, and hit more surf.
Pretty nice way to start the day.

Mountains are green as can be after it POURED last night. (NO LEAKS IN MY ROOF!!!!)
Home and work beckons.....
Simple, good, and satisfied beyond belief.

Do you ever find yourself taking the scenery for granted?
I've never been to state #50, but I've scuba diving my whole life, and I've been to a generous share of the world's beautiful islands.
After a few days it seems... Normal. I think personally, I'll save such beauty for my vacation retreats. Pictures are always nice, though.
living in paradise is something i never take for granted, ever.
and the north coast is surely paradise for us, but a bit chillier!
i love the photos, dude!
Ahhh. Can't wait for another taste of Maui early December. Six bucks for a gallon of milk is a fair enough trade-off for a $1 pineapple any day! And the islanders -- always so warm and helpful. Here in northern Michigan the locals need encouragement to make it through summer tourist season. Must be too few of them take time off for the beach.
Ok-every now and then re-post these...especially like, in, um...January when I'll be knee deep in brown snow mush and depressed that the holidays are over.
K?
Ditto what Mags said.
